When I visited the great beach of Daytona, I was amazed to find huge amounts of birds.
Never have I experienced so many birds being so tolerant to humans around them. I could get as close as 1 meter to them.

There are so many birds because of the great bird migration along the east coast of the USA. Florida and its south pointed shores is one of the biggest bird migration airways in the whole country.
Every coastal or water bound bird can stop here for rest and enjoy the rich food resources of the ocean.
