The Centipede Madness

Altoona, Florida, USA.

Once again I find myself being drawn like a magnet towards the most unfriendly animals of the planet. This centipede was no exception.

Here is why:

The bigger the centipedes get the nastier they get. In tropical climates some species grow really big. They can grow up to the same length as an adult person's underarm.

They are fast as a lightening. They can crawl forward and backwards with the same rapid speed.

They have frightening striking skills, and will not hesitate to strike multiply times - if it feels threatened.

They have big and sharp fangs that easily penetrates human skin or cockroaches (which it eats).

The fangs contain powerful, juicy venom that will hospitalize you.

But most of the time they are minding their own business, so just leave it alone and enjoy the cool "out of space" creature on the hunt for prey.
